Text Box: For those of you who don’t know, I am one of the co-authors of this book and I will admit that it is totally ungodly, however we did grow up. Foster’s spawned a lot of children I am sure that our political and religious views range the gamete, but I will be willing to bet that most of us are members of a First Baptist Church or something similar somewhere, and I will bet that most of us are Republicans. After all this is Georgia. Come to think of it, when I was at West Georgia, I attended your church a few times myself. There are parts of this book that make me cringe. There is plenty in it with which I do not agree, but it is history. It did happen  It would not surprise me if half the congregation at First Baptist was. just as crazy when they were young. In fact I would bet on it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Text Box: I wrote the above paragraph a few days ago. I have been out on mission and I have just now gotten back to my computer. While I was gone I had time to think about this sign business, and the more that I thought the more angry I became. I suppose that you, at First Baptist were just following the teachings of Jesus when you put it up for all the world to see. After all Jesus did burn books in Mathew, or was it Mark. Come on, you remember don’t you? Maybe it was Paul in Acts, or maybe it was Hitler in Germany or Stalin in Russia. I will guaran-damn –tee you that the sorriest person who ever lived at Foster’s was never that sorry. You are a threat to the American way of life, and that is coming from the mouth of a conservative Republican not some liberal nut case, like Lankford or Carmichael. Salmam Rushdie wrote a book that offended the Moslem Mullahs . They put a fatwa on his head. Is that your next step?
